IMPACT REPORT | FOUNDATION & FORMATION

Phase: Pre-Launch | Status: Building the Blueprint for Impact | Reporting Date: Current

The Catherine Rose Foundation is in its strategic formation phase. Our current impact is measured in structural integrity, validated partnerships, and concrete preparation—laying an unshakable foundation for the tangible community impact to follow.

GOVERNANCE & LEGAL IMPACT | Building to Last

We have established the robust operational and legal framework required for a legitimate, transparent, and effective nonprofit.

✓ Governance Structure Activated

  • An engaged, 8-member Board of Directors is actively governing with dual oversight and operational roles.
  • Creates a lean, effective, and deeply committed leadership team from the start.

✓ Bylaws Ratified

  • Official rules of operation have been approved.
  • Ensures all future activities are conducted with accountability, clear procedures, and mission focus.

✓ Trust Alignment in Progress

  • Structuring assets and long-term holdings to ensure perpetual mission fidelity and financial sustainability.

✓ 501(c)(3) Application Ready for Filing

  • All documentation (Form 1023, narratives, financial projections) is prepared for IRS submission.
  • Formal tax-exempt status is imminent.

Impact Statement: We have moved from an idea to an institution, constructing the legal and ethical backbone that will support millions of dollars in future community investment.

PROGRAMMATIC IMPACT | Designing the Future

Our four core programs are fully outlined operational blueprints, ready for activation.

Grounds for Healing

  • Curriculum outlined, blending horticulture wellness with vocational training.
  • Veteran outreach and referral plan drafted.

The Agri-Science Academy

  • STEM and agriculture learning modules structured.
  • Age-specific activities and hands-on project plans developed.

The Family Harvest Table

  • “Soil-to-Table” workshop series framework complete.
  • Nutrition education and intergenerational meal models designed.

The Rose Pantry

  • “Client-choice” grocery model protocol established.
  • Dignity-first service standards and inventory plans defined.

Impact Statement: We have meticulously designed the “what” and “how” of our service delivery, ensuring our future work is impactful, measurable, and ready to launch upon securing our campus.

PARTNERSHIP & COMMUNITY IMPACT | Securing Our Ecosystem

We are proactively building the collaborative network essential for our model’s success.

 University Partnership

  • Contract drafted, relationship outline formalized.
  • Secures academic validation, research opportunities, and a pipeline for collegiate volunteers and interns—a major credibility milestone.

Veteran Service Organization Outreach

  • Introductory meetings and needs-assessment conversations conducted.
  • Ensures Grounds for Healing is informed by and connected to existing support networks.

Local Agriculture & Business Community

  • Initial dialogues with vineyards, farms, and Texas business leaders begun.
  • Lays groundwork for future wine sales, supply partnerships, and vocational placement for graduates.

Impact Statement: We are not building in isolation. The draft contract with universities and ongoing outreach demonstrates our commitment to being a collaborative, embedded community asset.

OPERATIONAL & OUTREACH IMPACT | Preparing for Scale

We are building the tools to manage, fund, and communicate our mission.

Digital Foundation

  • Official website is in development.
  • Will serve as the public hub for information, volunteer sign-ups, and donor engagement.

Financial Planning

  • Initial fundraising plans and grant identification are underway.
  • Aligned with our program launch timeline and capital needs.

Brand Identity Established

  • Legal name, tagline (“Cultivating Community, Harvesting Hope”), and core messaging are finalized.
  • Ensures consistent, mission-aligned communication from day one.

OUR NEXT CRITICAL MILESTONES

The following sequential steps will convert our strong foundation into operational reality:

  1. File 501(c)(3) Application with the IRS. (Imminent)
  2. Finalize and Execute Partnership Contract.
  3. Secure Phase 1 Capital for land development and initial vineyard planting.
  4. Launch Public Website and begin active community storytelling.
  5. Break Ground on campus infrastructure.

OUR IMPACT PHILOSOPHY

True sustainability requires deep roots before first harvest. Our current impact is the meticulous work done below the surface: the bylaws, the contracts, the board governance, and the program designs. This work ensures that when the first vine is planted and the first veteran joins our cohort, the entire system is engineered for success, transparency, and long-term community benefit.

We are building the blueprint. Soon, we will build the campus.
